Perfectly imperfect.

This photograph was taken through one of the old windows of the studio. To us, it says a lot about audio mastering. At first glance it looks a little messy, like it needs to be cleaned up, similar to how mastering shapes a track. But there is also a raw beauty. The details, the scrapes, the imperfections, the mystery are all part of what makes music real and soulful. Not everything should be polished away. Mastering should follow the music. Clean where it needs to be clean, rough where it needs to be rough, always with care and respect. True beauty often lives in the imperfections.

“Sometimes the best thing you can do with your music is let someone who knows what they’re doing bring out its best.”

Integrity

The primary objective of audio mastering is to get the music into the right format, enhancing it while retaining its integrity. Our approach involves developing a deep understanding of the results each artist and producer wants to achieve. For this reason, we like to be involved in the early stages of their projects. Attended sessions are preferable, as working with the people originally involved can often help unravel any difficulties encountered.

Intentionality

Mastering today often involves extensive use of equipment and plugins, especially saturation. We go against this trend. Every piece of gear and plugin we use is carefully chosen and has a specific purpose, quality over quantity. Our goal is to achieve the intended sound with minimal processing, making your sound shine. Our masters exhibit holographic depth, clarity, warmth, and agile power without imposing our own sound onto your record.

Feeling

In recording school, it is often taught that masters must meet certain standards, even if it means sacrificing some parts of the music. We believe this is absolutely false, with a few exceptions. Our masters always prioritize feel over anything else. Music must have the right feel to convey its message to our hearts. We strive to create masters that sound human, have a natural feel, and convey emotions. This is our biggest goal in mastering.
